The Kings Daughters Home, now The Kings Daughters Bed and Breakfast, was a hospital designed for unwed mother and their infants to stay at until the time of their adoptions. Built on a pristine garden lot overlooking the Mississippi River, it is a combination of Colonel Revival and Bungalow – Shaker styles. The home in gracefully spacious and full of light.
The Kings Daughters Bed and Breakfast is located between the historic Natchez Cemetery on one end and two Veteran Memorial Cemeteries on the other. The property is a four-minute drive from downtown Natchez and many restaurants and shops. It is situated on the bluff directly overlooking the Mississippi River below.
The property boasts five spacious guest rooms. Three with river views, all with large private baths. A large dining hall, parlor and media room are also available to guests. There is also a beautiful front porch for sitting and sipping tea, and a big back screened porch for guests’ enjoyment. Each morning a hot southern breakfast is served in the dining hall between 8-10 for guests’ enjoyment. And a fun Happy Hour is self-serve in the Parlor between 6-8 pm each evening.
